Hurling Heroes visit St.Senans

Last Thursday was an exciting day for us all. We welcomed members of the Clare hurling team to our school; local Wolfe Tones man Aaron Cunningham, Podge Collins, Nicky O'Connell and kit man Michael 'Gazzy' Collins. They spoke to us about the importance of getting involved in sport, being active, eating properly, drinking water and respecting others. 

We got our photograph taken with the Liam McCarthy Cup as well as autographs. They seemed to like our songs and we even got some airplay on Clare Fm.It was the best day ever!

Titanic - The Unsinkable Ship

 We will be writing reports on the Titanic this week in class. Some children have even made models of this famous ship using recycled materials.
